Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary: A Devonshire Tea and Animal Show Experience

Join us for a delightful and educational tour of the Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can enjoy a delicious devonshire tea and an interactive animal show. You will also have time to explore the historic town of Hahndorf at your own leisure.

The tour includes:

  • A devonshire tea of freshly baked scones, jam, cream, and tea or coffee at the Warrawong Sanctuary Cafe
  • An animal show where you can get up close and personal with snakes, lizards, frogs, spiders, and many more creepy crawlies. Learn about the native wildlife and their habitats from the friendly and knowledgeable staff
  • A guided walk through the sanctuary, where you can see over 100 species of birds and many native mammals, such as kangaroos, wallabies, and bandicoots. The sanctuary was established in 1969 as a conservation and breeding area for endangered species, and is enclosed by a feral-proof fence
  • A drive to Hahndorf, the oldest surviving German settlement in Australia, where you can wander through the charming streets and shops, and have lunch at your own expense.

 

The tour includes:

  • A morning tea of tea, coffee, or milo and biscuits
  • A guided zoo tour.
  • Lunch Wildlife Presentation.
