Tour from Adelaide to Dandenong Ranges in Melbourne and return.
Tour Includes:
This morning we visit the Dandenongs. Boarding the coach we make our way to Belgrave and join Puffing Billy for our train ride to Emerald. Australia's century-old steam train is still running on its original mountain track from Belgrave to Gembrook in the scenic Dandenong Ranges. Lunch will be own cost in Emerald. This afternoon we visit the Tesselaar’s Tulip Farm. They first settled in Ferntree Gully, then in 1945 moved to Silvan, which is located in Victoria's beautiful Dandenong Ranges. They purchased a small, six hectare farm and planted their first crop of Tulips and Gladioli. Check out the thousands of tulips and other flowers at the Festival. Watch some of the entertainment or perhaps even join in. We travel back to Lilydale with time to freshen up before dinner. ()
After our final cooked breakfast we farewell our hosts at the motel and return home with fond memories of touring and fun with places and friends, new and old. On the way home we return through Horsham and Bordertown for lunch (own cost). Continuing our homeward journey with comfort stops along the way, arriving in Adelaide approximately 6.00pm. ()
