Day 1 : Adelaide - Burra - Peterborough
Your chauffeured car will pick you up from home and drop you at our Aust-wide tours depot 101 Muller Rd Hampstead Gardens for our 9.00am departure.  We make our way to Burra for a look around before we let you wander and get a bite to eat for lunch. After lunch we continue through to Peterborough and visit Steam town. You’ll be transported back to the glamorous 1920’s when train travel was the most elegant way to get around - passengers settling themselves into a First-Class Lounge car, sipping a long, cool drink while entertained by the on-board pianist. After dinner we board the coach and make our way back to Steamtown for the evening for the Sound and Light Show, You will sit comfortably in a restored 1916 historic rail carriage placed on an 85 foot long, 3-gauge turntable. You will move through the tunnels of time, to learn about Peterborough, about railways in South Australia and about the many fascinating personal stories associated with it. (D)
Day 2 : Peterborough - Pichi Richi - Peterborough

Bording the coach we make our way to Quorn and boarding the Pichi Richi Explorer. Travelling the part of the old Ghan route over red you'll watch the ranges creep ever closer before entering the Pichi Richi Pass with its rocky outcrops, dry riverbeds hilly scenery. On arrival back in Quorn you will have time for lunch (own cost) with several cafés and hotels to choose from. Time to depart and make our way to Peterborough with comfort stops along the way, arriving at approx.6.30. (B D)

Day 3 : Peterborough - Bungaree Station - Adelaide

After our Hearty cooked breakfast, we travel through Jamestown and Spalding to Bungaree Station. We learn about the early history which enables us to explore the historic station complex, including the Station Store, Homestead Gardens, St Michael's Church and the Woolshed, learn more about South Australia's pioneering past. After our tour we have lunch at the station. We leave Bungaree and travel back to Adelaide via Clare and Tarlee arriving at approx. 4.30 where your chauffeured car will be waiting to return you home.
